Creating the pipe blocks, calibrating, blowing in and splicing the fibre optic (FO) and copper (Cu) cables are part of the daily routine for us. Our expertise ranges from underground cable construction and the laying and splicing of copper or fibre optic cables to the installation, configuration, integration and maintenance of system technologies. The work is carried out by our own employees in accordance with current safety regulations and in outstanding quality.

Planning
Kummler+Matter EVT plans all aspects of FTTx projects, from the preliminary work to final acceptance. We support you with project evaluation and preliminary costing, create work programmes and take charge of scheduling.
Engineering
During this process step, the acquisition and preparation of a site acquisition report takes place. Permits are obtained and negotiations are conducted with owners. An evaluation of the materials is carried out and earthing concepts are created.
Execution
Kummler+Matter EVT provides temporary building site components and temporary facilities on a turnkey basis if required. During the execution phase, pipes can be laid using trenchless techniques. Cables are pulled or blown through using special equipment. This is followed by splicing and the equipping of distribution cabins and final distributors.
Commissioning
After the installation and assembly work, red light, attenuation and OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometry) measurements are carried out, a DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) is installed and the cables are released for operation.
Upkeep
In addition to customised measures for preventive maintenance, Kummler+Matter EVT also offers a 24-hour call-out service for troubleshooting and fault rectification.
