Temporary traffic controls for the autonomous shuttles of the University of Lausanne - EPFL
For the driverless shuttle system, an intelligent trackside system for traffic control at the intersections with private traffic was needed.
In cooperation with the company Délectro Integration, Kummler+Matter EVT supplied, installed and commissioned: 8 30-kW jet fans (length 1200 mm, 745 kg), 2 630-kW exhaust air axial fans (length 2500 mm, 12 t), 2 axial overpressure fans in the safety tunnels, 30 smoke extraction flaps, 8 flow probes, 6 visibility measurement meters and 36 smoke detectors, the ventilation control cabinets and control boxes in the infrastructure ducts as well as the control technology for the entire ventilation system.
